Duncan Forbes FC
was established in May 2008. We are a voluntary club run by the help of
parents. All of our main parent helpers have had disclosure and some
have attained coaching qualifications.
When the club
started we received £250 from BP which was a great help to buy equipment
for the club. Donations are always welcome.
The club entered
the Daily Record Kits for Kids in 2008 which was a great success. We
managed to collect over 9,600 vouchers to enable us to get a full strip
for the P6/7 team. We are now collecting the vouchers again in 2009 to
get strips for the P4/5 team.
We meet every
Saturday morning in the playing field at Duncan Forbes Primary School,
during school term.
There is a small
charge of 50p per child per week and this is to help the club update the
equipment if needed.
If for any reason
the football has to be cancelled, an answering machine service is
updated every week.
The
Football Hotline is 01463 247812
Session times:
Primary 1, 2 and 3
- 9.30 a.m. to 10.30 a.m.
Primary 4, 5, 6
and 7 - 10.45 a.m. to 12 p.m.
Primary 4/5
(coached by Stuart Kinsman) and 6/7 (coached by Eddie Reffin) have been
entered into the Soccer 7’s for 2009. The Soccer 7’s is a league
between most of the Primary Schools in Inverness. These matches will
usually take place on a week day in the evening.
We are always
pleased to have new parent helpers as we would not be able to run
without them. If you are interested please contact the football hotline
or just come along and introduce yourself to one of the coaches.
Any questions
please contact Head Coach Stuart Kinsman on the above number.
